Reunited with and happily married to Nevin Valentine (Napa High Class of 67). We have five children and seven grandchildren between us.
Travelled extensively in the years after graduation. Spent two years in Naval Reserve.
Studied Music and Broadcasting at San Francisco State. Lived and worked in San Francisco for twenty years. Retired from KGO-TV after exciting career in television. Worked The 1985 Academy Awards, Super Bowl XVI & XXIV, 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games. Won four Emmys.
After retiring from ABC-TV, started Darrell Holdaway Productions, a video production company.
Spent 15 working alongside Nevin as a Relationship Coach. Lived in Novato for eleven years, in 2012 moved to Irvine, CA and, as of 2021, Mission Viejo, CA (Orange County).

Larry was one of my best friends at Redwood Junior High. We ran track together (he was FAST!) and he was always upbeat and quick with a smile or a quip that would bring a laugh. He seemed destined to live a good live, based on his kind nature. I'm so glad he achieved happiness with family and career. The world is a better place because of Larry and his contributions.
